Grounded in Experience

I’ve been designing software across web, mobile, desktop, and hardware for 15+ years. I lead distributed teams, drive measurable results, and believe that no matter how complex the problem, the solution should feel simple to the person using it.

Focus on user needs
and business goals

My approach is to find the win-win for every feature — the solution that adds genuine value for the user while meeting business objectives. The result is stakeholder buy-in and teams aligned around a common purpose.

Connecting the Dots

My career spans the full spectrum of design — from UX design and research to visual design, motion design, and leadership. That breadth gives me the ability to lead with context, connect disciplines, and see the whole picture.

I've established agile practices within design teams, unified disparate persona systems into a single framework, and led the creation of customer journeys adopted across the organization. I'm equally comfortable in a design critique and presenting to executives.

I pick up new tools quickly and am always expanding my AI toolkit. I'm comfortable learning new technologies on the fly and committed to staying current as the field develops.

Launch,
Listen,
Learn

Handing off to engineering isn't the finish line. Staying engaged after launch — measuring outcomes, listening to users, and iterating — is what closes the gap between an MVP and true product market fit.

My interests outside of work are as varied as my professional ones. Photography has been a serious creative passion for years — I do most of my work out of my own studio. I've recently taken up woodworking and make a mean split-pea soup as well. My partner and I are also kept humble by our four distinctly devious cats.
