Focus on user needs
and business goals
My approach is to find the win-win for every feature. What is the solution that genuinely adds value for the user and also meets the business objectives? These are the solutions that result in buy-in across stakeholders and align teams in common purpose.
Over my career, I’ve developed a broad range of skills including UX Design, UX Research, Visual Design, and Design Leadership. I’ve built out agile processes within designs teams, consolidated multiple teams’ personas into a cohesive system, and facilitated the creation of org-wide customer journeys. I also have extensive experience communicating with executive stakeholders. My skills with various AI tools continues to grow. And my first love, motion design, is re-emerging as well.
Measure,
Listen,
Learn
Design isn’t finished when the product goes live. Design is an iterative process. Whether you are testing in a lab or in your live product, understanding what is working and what needs improvement is the difference between an MVP and achieving true product market fit.
My interests outside of work are as varied as my professional skills. I am a polymath committed to continuously learning new skills and improving them over time. I have a longstanding creative practice centered on studio photography and photo retouching. I enjoy woodworking and novice furniture building. My partner and I are also guardians of four distinctly, devious cats.
